 Cryotherapy is a very easy, safe, and effective way to remove unwanted benign moles, skin tags, seborrheic keratoses (those waxy rough spots that some call “barnicles”), etc.
In our office we use a cryotherapy probe that has different size tips to match the size of whatever you want to freeze off. Unlike the usual cryo sprays or liquid nitrogen swabs, the area of destruction with our technique is very precise, this allows even tiny skin tags around the eyes to be safely removed.
Not really. The treated spot will form a scab and drop off in a few days. Usually one freeze is all that’s needed, occasionally 2 treatments are needed.
